Book Club

Temple Sinai has multiple book clubs for the community to engage with. Read below for more information on our Book Club and Book Club South.

Temple Sinai Book Club

We hope you will join us for a morning of stimulating discussion with a group of interesting people who have a variety of backgrounds. Books are selected at our June meeting. All books selected have a Jewish theme or a Jewish author. We have been meeting for over 14 years on a regular basis.

Book Club meets on the 4th Wednesday every month from September until June. We meet in the Study at Temple Sinai from 11:00am – 12:30pm. The group is currently meeting virtually. Everyone is welcome and no RSVP is needed.

We have lively discussions about the content of the book as well as the issues which are suggested by the content. Sometimes we digress a bit, but that adds to the fun.

Temple Sinai Book Club South

Started during Covid times to connect to each other, this book club has been zooming together since August of 2020 and now is a hybrid of virtual and in-person. One person hosts monthly, and the host chooses the book, hosts (virtually or in person) and leads the discussion. If you are attending more than 3 times, we ask that you put yourself on the hosting rotation, typically each person hosts one month a year!

We always get together in the evening, usually the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00PM and we meet every month except July. We read all genres; examples are books with Jewish themes or by Jewish authors, fiction, non-fiction, or biography. Most of our Temple Sinai members are in Highlands Ranch, Parker, and Aurora, but we welcome all Sinai members.
