Give A Little

Our Current Committees

Ambassadors: Welcomes new members and visitors to Temple Sinai. Engages new congregants through monthly phone calls and personal invitations to Temple events.

Annual Event: Organizes event, auction, and the evening’s festivities for the Temple’s major fundraiser.

Brotherhood: Provides opportunities for men from Temple Sinai to come together for a variety of activities throughout the year. Promotes fellowship among members and actively serves the Temple Sinai community.  Main mission is to foster and support religious, social, educational and humanitarian causes, and to raise funds for youth programs and for the Sinai community

Caring Community: The Temple Sinai Caring Community works together to reach out to our congregants in their moments of need and celebration.

Chavurot: Support current chavarot, connect new members with a chavarot, and help to create new Chavurah groups.

Crating Kindness: The Temple Sinai Fiber Arts Guild gathers as a group to perform Tikkun Olam, repairing the world, one stitch at a time, by providing handcrafted warmth and comfort to those who are financially or spiritually in need. Everyone is welcome to join. 

Cultural Arts: Plans cultural arts events such as speakers and concerts.

Finance/Audit: Works with the executive director, controller and accountant on finances.

Fundraising: Development of congregational fundraising projects.

JIFL: The Jewish Interest Free Loan of Colorado is managed by a committee of men and women dedicated to its activities and qualified to carry out its goals. The committee meets regularly to review loan applications.  

Lifelong Jewish Learning: Organizes speakers and classes on current educational topics.

Preschool: Makes recommendations, develops policy, and supports special projects for the Preschool.

Religious School: Representative group that makes recommendations, develops policy, and supports special projects for the Religious School

Sinai Tzedek: Implementation and publicity of programs that will encourage involvement in human welfare issues. Sinai Tzedek now encompasses our Green Team and all other social action initiatives.

Women’s Programming:  Provides opportunities for women from Temple Sinai to come together for a variety of activities throughout the year. Promotes fellowship among members and actively serves the Temple Sinai community.  Main mission is to foster and support religious, social, educational and humanitarian causes, and to raise funds for programs and for the Sinai community.

Young Professionals:  Provides opportunities for young professionals from Temple Sinai to come together for a variety of activities throughout the year. Promotes fellowship among members and actively serves the Temple Sinai community.

Holiness (Intentionality and Presence): Families come together to appreciate the blessing of having a community.

Divine Image (Dignity and Potential): Our school community honors everyone’s uniqueness and diversity is celebrated.

B'rit

Covenant (Belonging and Commitment): Families and Temple Sinai Preschool enter into a “covenant” of mutual support with clearly defined, but evolving, obligations and roles.
