History
Our history helps define who we are. It helps us understand the values that have shaped us and points us to the next stages of our journey. Temple Sinai was formed by a group of individuals who had a vision of what we might become.
Our Story Begins Here
Temple Sinai was founded as a congregation in 1967 by Rabbi Raymond A. Zwerin and a group of incredibly dedicated individuals looking for a Reform Jewish home in Denver that met their needs. Temple Sinai found its first home at First Plymouth Congregational Church with 88 families which quickly grew over the course of the year, entering the new year with over 125 families.
