In 1998, the Jewish Interest Free Loan of Colorado became the newest of over 50 such organizations. Set to help the Jewish community, we are pleased to serve the needs of our people statewide.
A Tradition of People Helping People
Thanks to a generous grant from the Rose Community Foundation, we are happy to announce a new loan opportunity! Families: if you are looking for support with sending your children to Jewish activities (ECE, camp, day school, B’not Mitzvah training, etc.), JIFL may be able to help you! (Sometimes a small monthly interest free payment is easier than coming up with a large chunk of money.)
Funds may be loaned for a variety of situational basic needs – car repairs, necessary home repairs, unexpected business expenses, credit card consolidation, etc.

LOAN CRITERIA FOR APPLICANTS
- Must be Jewish.
- Must have been a resident of Colorado for at least one year.
- Must complete application to include employment, assets, liabilities, ability to make all payments (in 12-36 months) and guarantor name if necessary.
- Any previous JIFL loan/s must have been paid off – no defaults.
Each applicant is asked to complete a comprehensive application. This will be reviewed by the JIFL Administrator who will contact you (usually via Zoom) for any necessary clarifications. Committee members will then meet with the applicant (usually via Zoom) and the decision will be made shortly after.
The Jewish Interest Free Loan of Colorado is managed by a committee of men and women dedicated to its activities and qualified to carry out its goals. If you meet the qualifications the committee will expedite the process in a manner that will be beneficial to your situation.
All members and officers serve without compensation.
All applications are treated with absolute confidentiality.
