Temple Sinai is excited to offer a wide variety of ways to connect, engage, and build community. From Brotherhood to Book Club and everything in between, there are countless meaningful opportunities to get involved, meet new people, and deepen your Sinai experience.
Join our Committee to help us host, educate and bring the community together as we all stand up to antisemitism and live one of our core Jewish values, Tikkun Olam. The Action Against Antisemitism Committee is an active part of Temple Sinai life. The Committee meets monthly, alternating between daytime and evening in-person andZoom meetings. The Committee is lay-led and works closely with the synagogue staff and clergy. Click here for more information.
Brotherhood brings members together to create, grow and strengthen friendships within the larger Temple Sinai community through social, Temple and community service activities.
If you are interested in learning more, have an activity or suggestion you would like to add, are willing and interested in helping plan an event or are ready to just jump in and join this growing fraternal group of Temple Sinai men, please reach out!
This group works together to reach out to our congregants with new member welcome, new baby, get well and condolence baskets. They reach out in many other ways via cards and calls.
Being in a Chavurah, (Hebrew for friend group), is a wonderful way to connect with other congregants from Temple Sinai. If you would like to join an existing Chavurah or form a new group, we have options. Click here for more information.
The mission of the Temple Sinai Engagement Committee is to connect with every individual, member or visitor and help them feel truly part of our community. We strive to create a welcoming environment where people of all backgrounds, life stages, and experiences know they are valued and cared for. Our work includes reaching out to new members, staying connected with longtime members, engaging families and individuals, and ensuring that everyone has opportunities to learn, celebrate, and build meaningful relationships. Through these efforts, we nurture a vibrant and inclusive community for today and for the future.
